Tuesday, April 11: Be a Mammoth is an open-house program that gives admitted students the opportunity to sample life at Amherst through the firsthand experiences of attending classes, meeting faculty, talking with enrolled students and touring the campus.
January 2023: Over winter break, most students leave campus for some well-deserved rest from the demands of the academic term. Others stay at the College over January. Here’s a look at five students who spent January rehearsing, practicing, and studying for their senior theses.
February 19, 2023: Attendees to Winter Fest 2023 enjoyed interactive games, inflatables, live music, ice skating, an abundance of food, and more.
In March of 2023, a group of Amherst College students, sponsored by the Loeb Center for Career Exploration & Planning, traveled to D.C. where they spent four days learning about careers in government and nonprofit. Text by Katharine Whittemore.
November 4-6, 2022: From soccer and football, jazz to theater performances, hot chocolate and s'mores, Amherst College welcomed families to campus for a weekend of fun, food, and beautiful fall weather.

September 19–23, 2022: Pianist and composer Jason Moran visited campus as the first of four Presidential Scholars. His residency included class visits, master classes, and a concert with a pre-concert conversation.
